This pocket version brush pens are suitable to fill either water or ink into the reservoir. On the crown of brush handle is a twistable piston knob that make loading easy and also controls the flow while using. The exterior of these brush pens is more like a regular fountain pen. The cap not only protects the brush when it is not in use but also serves as an extension to the handle as needed. Its compact fountain pen design makes it easy to carry around. Great to work with half pans, watercolor pencils, soluble crayons, and pastels.

This synthetic brush head is a combination of long nylon bristles, which with great flexibility and resiliency, spring back to a sharp point, and short rabbit hair to hold the moisture at the bottom. A versatile brush that offers incomparable delivery of both sharp strokes and soft washes. It is different from any pure synthetic brushes in the market. You may use the pointed brush tip to draw delicate sketch, and you can also create "flying white" and other textures with split hair or dry strokes, as well as laying down broader wet washes. 85% synthetic fiber, 15% natural animal hair. 2. a Small Synthetic Fiber Brush
100% fine synthetic bristles that gives the brush a pointed tip(so it can fit back into the cap easily). It's good for details and outlines. Fill it with water, or color ink if you prefer. Brush Length: 5 1/2"(capped) Head size: 1/2" x 1/4"

Please make sure the brush is soaked completely before using, as with any new brush you buy. The brush is very easy to clean, just squeeze out some water and brush it on a paper towel. Main care tip for the water brushes would be to clean and drain them before storing them when they are not going to be used for a while.
*Please do not insert the dry brush into the cap because it might not fit in. Make sure the brush is pointed and not going to touch the cap. **Also, please note that there's no "stopper click" to the cap, so please gentally insert the brush into the cap and avoid crushing the brush with over pushing. Product review: "The brush pen is really like an actual brush. It feels very much like a natural I mean. It makes amazing accidental flowing lines, and no more worries of being dried out or too much inks flowing because of the piston.
And the hair tip feels like made with almost full of natural hair that keeps the original shape and sharp point of the tip by smoothness
And also, it doesn't need any expensive special ink :). Just like an actual brush that I can draw outside too.
