These water brushes use a piston filler to controls the amount of water/ink get into and out of the reservoir. Perfect for sumi-e and watercolor journals. Great to work with half pans, watercolor pencils, soluble crayons, and pastels.

1. A Large Pocket Brushpen

This synthetic brush head is a combination of  long nylon bristles, which with great flexibility and resiliency, spring back to a sharp point, and short rabbit hair to hold the moisture at the bottom. A versatile brush that offers incomparable delivery of both sharp strokes and soft washes. It is different from any pure synthetic brushes in the market. You may use the pointed brush tip to draw delicate sketch, and you can also create "flying white" and other textures with split hair or dry strokes, as well as laying down broader wet washes.  85% synthetic fiber, 15% natural animal hair.

2. A Small Pocket Brushpen

100% fine synthetic bristles that gives the brush a pointed tip(so it can fit back into the cap easily). It's good for details and outlines. Fill it with water, or color ink if you prefer.

3. A Long-handled Synthetic and Rabit Blend Waterbrush

This synthetic brush head is composed of long nylon bristles which with great flexibility and resiliency, spring back to a sharp point, and short rabbit hair to hold the moisture at the bottom. 4. A Long-handled Goat and Wolf Combination Waterbrush

It is made with soft hair surrounded a hard core. The stiff hair tip (in black) is used to draw line with calligraphic expression, especially good for drawing lines of landscape, figure and plants; the soft hair are good for washes using side brush strokes. In Chinese it is called Baiyun or "white-clouds" brush. 100% natural animal hair.

5. A Long-handled Small Wolf Hair Waterbrush
It's easy to get "flying-white" effect with split hair strokes, great for texture shading in landscape painting, or doing animal hair or bird feather in loose or dry strokes. 100% natural animal hair.

6. A Long-handled Large Wolf Hair Water Brush:
 100% natural animal hair. This stiff hair brush is known as the "Bamboo and Orchid Brush. " Good for all kinds of brushworks, especially calligraphic strokes.

7. A Long-handled Goat & Wolf Combination Hair Water Brush:
It is a combination of goat or soft hair(90%) surrounding a wolf or stiff core(10%). The wolf hair tip is used to draw lines with calligraphic expression. In Chinese it is called Baiyun or "white-clouds" brush. Ideal for washing sky or backgrounds, and applying colors.
