Lesson Nine: Monkeys and Gibbons in Traditional and Contemporary Chinese Painting

First, Henry introduced the Mu Qi's Zen style monkeys that was regarded as the best of best sumi-e in Japan. He painted a Mother and Baby Monkey painting on a silk scroll after Mu Qi's masterpiece.
Then Henry did a Five Monkeys with Wild Grapes painting a huge size 106" x 48"(244cm x 122cm) rice paper with the new BHA Zen stick brush made of rooster feather .
