Maobian Bamboo Paper for Practice Chinese or Kanji Calligraphy[Cal_Papar]

This traditional calligraphy paper is made of all natural bamboo pulp for practicing Chinese or Kanji calligraphy. The paper is soft but durable, absorbent but not bleed. It comes with the red Mi(or "rice") Grid for 12 characters at 3"x3" size each.  The Rice Grid is commonly printed on many standard calligraphy copybooks for students to use as frame of reference, which has been used in Chinese schools for centuries to teach children how to write Chinese characters. It was the most commonly used grid paper.

This is an excellent paper, better than you might think for practice purposes. It absorbs ink very well, doesn’t bleed at edges, even with full brush. There is a nice feel as your brush bristles contact and stroke the fibers of the paper. It is very thin and the inked on boxes give you lots of feedback for correcting strokes.
