I was eager to try this ink pad as a possible substitute for the standard seal ink. Disappointing. This water based ink does not go on very dark and ends up being pale and washed out. You cannot "build" up the ink as with the standard thick seal ink. Compared to the standard seal ink, this product will not provide a very impressive result.
