Vermillion chips come in dry pieces, made from the pigments of mineral particles. It is very brilliant and fine which can be blended well with ink and other watercolors. Lightly glued, it produces the best results on rice paper.

Usage: Put a few chips in a sake cup and add small amount of warm water to soak it before using. Add more water to dilute it when needed when painting. A small box of color chips will last for many paintings.
