This Confucius brand Xuan paper is an unsized "raw" rice paper, medium absorbent and smearing. Single-ply weight, white and soft, it is suitable for painting flower and birds, figures, animals and landscape painting. As a great practice paper, I recommend it for beginning students as well as advanced artist who favor less expensive rice paper to paint on.
