This brush is made of 100% natural goat hair. It is designed to achieve maxim load of ink, a full waist support and a fine tip. It is shaped as a magnolia or lotus bud, suitable for painting lotus flowers and leaves, applying color or background washing in landscape painting etc.  It serves as a great calligraphy brush for writing large characters in either standard script or cursive script. This was the brush Victoria Li used in her latest calligraphy video DVD.

Outstanding for large character work. Holds a huge amount of ink. Supple, yet the tip remains active and strong. It is easy to retain the middle of the “bone” in your strokes. Handle is lovely, well made and decorated. Superb balance in the hand. Highly recommend.
