These water brushes use a piston filler to controls the amount of water into and out of the reservoir. Great to work with half pans, watercolor pencils, soluble crayons, and pastels. The whole set comes with three assorted bristles: 1: Nylon Fiber and Rabbit Hair Blend. This synthetic brush head is composed of long nylon bristles which with great flexibility and resiliency, spring back to a sharp point, and short rabbit hair to hold the moisture at the bottom. A versatile brush that offers incomparable delivery of both sharp strokes and soft washes. It is different from any pure synthetic brushes in the market. 85% synthetic fiber, 15% natural animal hair. Main care tip for the water brushes would be to clean and drain them before storing them when they are not going to be used for a while.
