Made in China, the Water-star brand rice paper roll is of premium quality. Unsized, it absorbs and smears evenly. Made from mulberry and cotton fiber, perfect for Sumi-e or Chinese brush painting, and also good for calligraphy, gyotaku (fish printing), woodcut or lino block printing, mounting, bookbinding, rubbing, stamping, kite, lantern, window covering and collage etc. 

Unlike the Wenzhou rice paper roll, the Water-star rice paper does not have a shiny surface. Its heaviness is suitable for printing according to a graphical designer artist client. It is good for water-based art media including watercolors and fluid acrylics. It has a pure white, soft yet rough surface ideal for. PH neutral and archival, this 30g rice paper is as alabaster, soft yet firm, and resistant to aging and worms.
